The client brief asked for quirky, wow-factor luxury design to celebrate the originality and character of the chapel building. The open plan living space was designed to be neutral and light but interesting with a sunken lounge, feature fitted joinery and luxe metallic accents. Special attention was paid to the layout to give a cohesive design aesthetic whilst allowing for separately defined lounge, library study, open plan kitchen, dining space and feature bar. A dark panelled games room, quirky chill out area with living wall and luxury roof terrace with sunken jacuzzi are among some of the interesting design elements employed on this project. A combined colour palate of inky blues and greens were used for the bedrooms, each with their own ensuite. Finally an impressive ‘hidden’ family bathroom was designed which combines contemporary styling with a more traditional victorian aesthetic. Faye Robinson Interiors carried full interior design, specification and technical drawing services in conjunction with supplied architects layout drawings, as well as bespoke joinery design and package. *Project examples shown, photos coming 2021
